Jelly Roll Rug Class
Using 2 1/2 inch strips of fabric and batting, you will create the cutest rug!
You will receive 10% off supplies purchased from Quilters' Therapy for class.
There is a class minimum of 6 participants. We will notify you by November 9, 2023, if the class is cancelled and will refund your class fee. If the participant cancels less than 7 days before class, no refund will be issued.
Supplies needed for class:
Jelly Roll Rug pattern (purchase from Quilters' Therapy)
1 jelly roll of your choice
50 yd roll of Katahdin batting strip roll
Polyester thread to match fabric - 1 to 2 full spools
Box or basket to contain your tube as you sew it
Large rubber bands
Gypsy Tool for help when making the "tube"
Basic sewing notions including: good working sewing machine, foot for sewing wide zig zag (can use a walking foot), foot pedal, electrical plug, sewing machine manual, pins, thread snips, seam ripper stiletto or purple thang, Best Press.
Prep at home prior to class:
Wind bobbins to match your sewing thread
Sew the jelly roll together end to end and press the seams. You may "fan fold" the jelly roll with the help of large rubber bands. The instructor will help you with this in class.

That sparked new interests in paper piecing, long arm quilting, crazy patchwork, applique, embroidery and custom sewing projects. She has a life-long love of teaching and has enjoyed helping students reach new goals and develop new skills. |
