Sew Sensational Projects - Jewelry Travel Pouch
This travel jewelry pouch features 8 inside pockets plus a large open compartment and has a drawstring closure.
Fabric Requirements:
You can use 2-4 fabrics, depending on how scrappy you want it.
You will be cutting two 15" circles and two 12" circles.
*If using fat quarters, you will need 1 for each large circle and can use 1 for both small circles.
*If using yardage, you will need 1/2 yd cut for the large circles (you can get both from a 1/2 yd) and 1/3 yd cut for the small circles (you can get both from a 1/3 yd).
For my sample, I used 2 fabrics. I had a 1/2 yard of each and cut 1 large and 1 small circle from each fabric.
Other Supplies:
*Sewing machine (don't forget your power cord and pedal)
***If you know how to make buttonholes on your machine, bring your buttonhole foot. If you don't know how to do this on your machine, don't worry, I'll bring my machine and can do them for you!
*Scissors for cutting fabric (we'll be cutting circles - you can do this with scissors or rotary cutter)
*Rotary cutter and mat (only if you plan on using this to cut your circles)
*Thread and normal sewing supplies
*Frixion marking pen (or other iron away or disappearing pen)
*Iron and ironing mat (suggested)
I have the satin rattail cording in 10 basic colors that you can choose from. I will also have fusible batting for the base.
